Finish client intake without the paperwork back-and-forth

Send each new client a private link with your intake checklist: retainer, records releases, ID and the documents their matter needs. Your forms are filled and signed online, and every upload is checked for signatures and missing pages.

Why collecting is hard

Intake drags on after the consult

The client agreed to hire you, but the signed retainer, releases and documents take weeks to arrive, and staff spend hours following up.

Unsigned and incomplete forms

A release without a signature or a passport scan missing the photo page means another request and more delay on the matter.

Clients struggle with what to send

Personal injury, immigration and family matters each need different documents, and clients are often stressed and unsure what counts.

What you can collect

Start from a ready-made checklist and adjust it. Each item can have its own rules, examples and forms.

Signed retainer or engagement letter
Attach your own PDF. Clients fill it in and sign with a drawn signature, and the upload is checked for a signature.
Medical records release
Your release form, signed online, so you can request records from providers.
Accident or police report
Every page required, checked for the client's name.
Injury and damage photos
Multiple photos under one item, with an example of what to capture.
Passport and immigration documents
Every page of the passport, prior visas and permits, checked for expiration dates. IDs can be excluded from AI checks.
Financial documents for family matters
Pay stubs, tax returns and bank statements, each with a date window such as the last 3 months.
Intake questions
Date of incident, opposing party, insurance carrier and contact details, as date, text, email and phone questions.

The AI agent does the chasing

The AI collection agent emails each new client their intake link, answers questions about which documents to upload, and paces reminders to your filing or consultation date. Clients can reply with attachments and the agent files them under the right item. It does not give legal advice; questions about the case go straight to your team.

Frequently asked questions

Does the AI give legal advice to clients?
No. It answers questions about what to upload and how. Anything about the matter itself is handed to a person at your firm.
Can clients sign our retainer online?
Yes. Fillable PDFs are completed and signed with a drawn signature. Tangentflow does not issue e-signature audit certificates, so use your e-signature provider if you need one.
Can I keep sensitive items out of AI checks?
Yes. Items like IDs or medical records can be excluded from AI checks and are still collected securely.
Where do intake files go?
Download a ZIP, send files to Google Drive, or post them to your case management system with a webhook.
How long are client files kept?
Files are deleted automatically after the request is complete or the retention period ends: 7 days on Free and 60 days on Pro.
