Video testimonials & reviews

Turn happy customers into video testimonials you can use

Send each customer a private link with a few short prompts. They record on their phone or webcam with the questions on screen, add a star rating and a written review, and sign permission for how you plan to use it. The transcript is checked against your prompts and the best quotes are pulled out for you.

Why collecting is hard

Customers say yes, then never record

A happy client agrees to a testimonial on a call, but recording, finding a way to send a large file and remembering to do it all get in the way.

Videos that ramble or miss the point

Without prompts, testimonials run long, skip the result you wanted to highlight, or never mention your business by name.

No clear permission to use them

A thumbs up in an email is not a clear record of whether a video can go on your website, social channels or paid ads.

What you can collect

Start from a ready-made checklist and adjust it. Each item can have its own rules, examples and forms.

Video testimonial
Recorded on the page with your prompts shown on screen, a countdown, preview and retake. A max length keeps answers focused.
Uploaded video
Customers who already recorded can upload an existing video up to 500 MB instead.
Star rating
A 1 to 5 star rating question, collected alongside the video or on its own.
Written review
A text question for customers who prefer to write, with your own prompt such as what changed for them.
Photos
Before and after shots, the finished project or the customer with your product, checked by AI.
Best quotes
Speech in videos up to 10 minutes is transcribed, checked against your prompts, and the strongest quotes are pulled out.
Usage-rights release
List the uses, such as website, social and paid ads. The customer types their name, ticks each use and signs, and you get a signed PDF.

The AI agent does the chasing

The AI collection agent emails each customer their link, answers questions like how long the video should be, and paces gentle reminders to your needed-by date. Customers can ask questions in the on-page chat while they record. If a video needs another take, ask for changes and the agent reopens that item and follows up. Anything beyond the request is handed to your team.

Frequently asked questions

Do customers need to install anything?
No. The link opens in any phone or computer browser with no account. Customers record with their phone camera or webcam right on the page.
Can I ask for testimonials from many customers at once?
Yes. Upload a spreadsheet of up to 100 customers and schedule the requests. Each person gets their own link and prompts.
Is there a testimonial wall or widget for my website?
No. Tangentflow collects testimonials and delivers them to you. It does not host public pages, widgets or embeds, so you publish the videos wherever you already do.
Do I need permission to use a testimonial in ads?
It is good practice to get written permission for each use. The built-in release lets customers tick website, social or paid ads and sign. This is not legal advice, so check the rules that apply to you.
Where do the testimonials go?
Download a ZIP, send files to Google Drive, or post them to your system with a webhook. Files are delivered to your Drive, not hosted by us, and are deleted automatically after 7 days on Free or 60 days on Pro.
